Gergely Molnár
I am a tenure CNRS researcher at INSA of Lyon in the Contacts and Structures Mechanics Laboratory (LaMCoS). I am working with the multi-scale modeling of materials to understand their failure mechanism. After finishing my PhD thesis at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics as a civil engineer I am working with both amorphous and crystalline materials using simulation techniques to understand the underlying physical phenomena of micro-scale plasticity and macroscopic fracture propagation. Besides my research I am a fan of eating and also cooking French, Hungarian, Italian and Argentinian cuisine. And also actively participating in the swimming team of Lyon Natation.
